Bandung has always been a tourist city for people from Jakarta and its surrounding cities. Its fresh air, many factory outlets, and gobs of hanging out places have created some crazy crowds, especially during the weekends. For someone who doesn't travel out of town a lot, I consider Bandung as one of the busiest and unpleasant cities during the weekends or the holiday season. I basically like Bandung, but to be there during those times gives me a headache! Here are some advantages and disadvantages of Bandung... Advantages
- Friendly people, even friendlier than Jakartans.
- Fresh air, not as polluted as Jakarta.
- Many places of interests.
- Cool places for hanging out.
Disadvantages
- One-way street (it has created some of the most jammed traffics I've ever been).
- Lack of lightings on the evenings (the only lights I could see clearly were the lights from other vehicles).
- Regardless of the crowd it has during weekends, Bandung has already been a crowded city itself due to its ugly placement of pedagang kaki lima and other kinds of merchants.
Sooo unhealthy!
- Banyak tersedia papan penunjuk jalan, tapi semuanya kurang jelas.
So, still want to visit Bandung? Well, I do!
